Grant turns one!

Tutu Girls

I am totally loving these tutus!! I photographed 2 more little sweethearts this past week. The baby in hot pink is 3 months and the baby in orange is 9 months. Are they cute or what???

Latest Sessions

Hi there!

It has been a busy past couple weeks and so I have not gotten a chance to post. We finished the yearbook at school and finished the quarter. I can't believe we are going to begin 4th quarter when we return from spring break. This school year has gone so fast. At least I can say I am never bored!

Here we are Friday of spring break week! I am going to post some images from recent sessions. These first few are my little nephew Caden. He is one month old now and just adorable. We photographed him in the nest and also in a "Rock-a-bye Baby pose". I just love this tree branch idea that the stork just dropped him off! It is a work in progress! I am working on creating a better sling to secure and support the baby. Then, I will have to find another baby to photograph!

Tutu Sophie

Here are a couple images from a tutu session with Sophie. Isn't she adorable?

One of the great things about being a teacher is the relationships that are built with the students. Most often, that relationship ends after the students graduate. As a photographer, I am fortunate to see some of these students again in other aspects of their lives. Maybe they are in need of a wedding photographer or are having babies.

Sophie is an example of this. Both of her parents are past students of mine. It is fun to see them now! What great parents!

Seeking Ambassadors

Over the past couple of months we have been attending seminars, buying new props and preparing for the upcoming senior photography season. We would love to put all these new ideas into action before the rush hits. That is where you come in! We are looking for ambassadors from area schools to come in for their senior session in April 2009. Tutu Cuties

I am so excited to announce a new session theme for our studio. Tutu Cuties! We have expanded our tutu selection thanks to Hannah's Tutus. We have purchased several sizes and colors of tutus and head wear already (with more on our wish list). I have a few little cuties coming in to model for me over the next couple of weeks so I will post some samples soon. If you would like more information about this session, please let me know.

Newborn session offer

We are offering newborn sessions at no charge. We would love to meet you and your new little bundle of joy! Infants change so quickly so call early to book your session while your child still looks "new".

To qualify for the offer, your baby must be between 0-4 weeks of age at the time of the session. Your session fee will be waived. You will also receive 10% off your print order, including birth announcements. Other specialty items do not qualify for the discount.

Caden

I am excited to introduce my first nephew! He is just a few days old in these images. Josh and I just returned from a photo conference in Iowa and I got so many great ideas for newborn portraits. I can't wait to photograph him again!

Autumn

Well, I have finally started blogging! I decided to start with showing some samples of a session that I did of this sweet little girl. I have been photographing the 3 girls in this family for a couple years now and just love them all. I will post some images of her sister's in future blogs. For now, I will share these cute expressions of Autumn at 7 months.
